George Kittle talks return of Jimmy G, recruitment of Antonio Brown

“We keep in touch every once in a while,” Kittle said on 95.7 The Game. “Obviously, he’s doing his rehab stuff. Jimmy’s a hard worker, so he’s going to come back stronger than ever.”

“I haven’t got a chance to do anything with him, but I’m definitely looking forward to getting back to work in OTAs and having him sling the rock again.”

Kittle, among the cavalry of 49ers to recruit Antonio Brown via social media, addressed the speculation swirling around the wideout, ultimately deferring to his bosses, general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan.

“You know what? I did see it,” Kittle said. “I thought it was a great photo, but you’ve got to talk to Mr. Lynch and coach Shanahan about that because I just show up and play football.”
