Warriors refute report that Curry is set to miss the rest of the season

Bleacher Report's Ric Bucher reported Friday morning that Stephen Curry's 2019-20 season might already be over.
Multiple team sources from the Warriors promptly brushed aside that report as "hogwash," per Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Here's what Bucher, who is also a RADIO.com Sports Insider, had intitally written: 

"His lengthy absence is not borne merely from being cautious with the franchise's best player. A team source says the fracture was worse than originally thought, and it's unlikely that he plays again this season."

Bucher later took to Twitter to amend his initial reporting:

A clarification from my story today citing a source saying Steph Curry is likely to miss the remainder of the season: while the injury was worse than originally thought, he wouldn't play again this season because there's no competitive reason. Story is being updated.

Even before the Curry confusion, the Warriors were already thin after losing Klay Thompson for most of, if not all of this season while he recovers from an ACL tear. Draymond Green is currently out with a torn ligament in his left index finger.
