Alec Burks drops 28 points off the bench but Warriors fall to Rockets

The Golden State Warriors fall to 2-6 on the season after losing to the Houston Rockets. Final: 129-112.

The young Warriors fought the entire 48 minutes but they were simply outmanned.  At the end of the first quarter they were only down by one (30-29) and at halftime the Rockets were up 63-52.

In the third quarter Houston took a 23-point lead and Golden State cut it to 10.

Veteran guard, Alec Burks, led the young team with 28 points off the bench.

Eric Paschall, was a point shy of another 20-point game. He finished with 19 points, 3 assists, and 6 rebounds.

The rookie hit PJ Tucker with a pump-fake and finished it off with a dunk.

The Warriors defense struggled to contain James Harden. After a slow start, the beard went off for 36 points, hit 6 triples, and 10 of his points came from the line. 

The Dubs are on a three-game road trip. Next up, the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. D'Angelo Russell could also make his return after missing three games with an ankle sprain. Tip-off is at 5pm and coverage starts at 3:30pm on 95.7 The Game.
