On the eve of the draft, Bob Myers addressed the media, but didn’t have much to share on the injury front, as it regards Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.
The president of basketball ops/GM said Thompson has yet to undergo his ACL surgery, but otherwise there’s no update on the guard or Durant.
The delay in Thompson’s surgery is hardly unusual, as players with an ACL tear often wait a week of two between the injury and the surgery as swelling goes down. Myers also said that Jacob Evans (Plus the No. 28 and No. 58 picks, will be playing in the summer league).
