Giants super prospect Heliot Ramos heads to the injured list, joining Joey Bart

Heliot Ramos, the San Francisco Giants No. 2 prospect overall per, has joined Joey Bart on the injured list. Bart is the only farm hand ranked about Ramos, a 19-year-old outfielder.

Heliot Ramos has been placed on the injured list. Ramos suffered a knee injury on a swing two nights ago.Ramos batting .270/.422/.587 with 5 2B, 5 HR & 14 walks in 19 games for the #SJGiants this season. Second in Cal League with 1.009 OPS.

The Giants added that it's left knee soreness for Ramos and ordered an MRI.

The club originally snagged Ramos, who’s played exclusively in center field during his time in the minors, with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2017 draft.

Bart, who’s expected to be out until June after fracturing his left hand a couple weeks ago, was the No. 2 selection last June.
