Sherman says 'it's been made pretty clear' he won't be back with 49ers

Echoing what has long been hinted at, Richard Sherman has now all but confirmed that he will not be back with the 49ers next season.

The five-time Pro Bowler told Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee that he discussed the matter with head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch.

"It’s been made pretty clear," Sherman explained. "It was a good conversation, nothing crazy. Just a good conversation about where they are and where I am, and their plans. We were both very positive and as good as you can be in a situation like this."
