A strange moment broke out in the third quarter of Sunday’s matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.

Bears wide receiver Javon Wims seemingly made a random decision to try and fight Saints cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson by tapping him on the chest and throwing two punches to Gardner-Johnson’s helmet.

Wims was ejected, but everything from his punch to Gardner-Johnson’s stonefaced reaction had everyone watching the game take to social media to express their bewilderment and amusement of what they just saw.

From fans to media to former players, it did not seem like anyone had ever seen a “fight” like that during an NFL game.
