Rep. Vernon Jones: ‘Georgia will hold the line and the Senate will not overturn to the left’

All eyes are on Georgia as the Senate runoff elections approach. Georgia Democratic Representative Vernon Jones said he is confident the Republicans will hold the line in the Senate.

“I am agreeing less and less with the Democratic Party platform,” he said. What turned him off and led him to split from the party was the progressive left ideologies and issues they are trying to push the party to believe in.

Jones said when he first came out in support of Donald Trump; he was lambasted by his party and isolated. He said once he started speaking up about Trump he was considered an embarrassment to his party.
