Tim Schneider, Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party, joins the show in the aftermath of Governor Pritzker’s decision to extend Illinois’ stay-at-home order through the end of May.
Schneider explains that Pritzker is basically "iron fisting" the decision making with no bipartisan effort.
“This is being led almost entirely by J.B. Pritzker.”
Schneider believes this should have been rolled out as a regional approach, and that some of the rural areas should be allowed to open up and get the economic engine restarted.
He also explains the debt and pension crisis facing the state of Illinois. Is bankruptcy on the horizon?
