Neither David Dorn nor George Floyd deserved to die, yet both men will be forever connected.
We hope that David Dorn will always be remembered for the incredible human he was.
On Tuesday, hundreds of people waited for more than an hour in the hot sun to pay respects to the retired St. Louis police captain, who was killed during a looting incident last week. His private funeral is happening Wednesday morning.
Racism is still a reality and the reality of that is that no rule or regulation is going to wipe that out starting today.
Now it comes down to basic humanity.
