According to a Twitter spokesperson, Twitter could ban President Donald Trump from the platform as soon as President-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated.
Although Twitter has been adding warning labels to many of the president’s tweets, Trump is protected by Twitter’s own “World Leaders Policy,” which allows the platform to keep a tweet on a page, even if it defies the rule, so that the public is able to view the opinions of their leaders.
