Brown, who was signed by the Rams in 2015, recorded 212 carries on 43 carries across 12 games last season. He has one career touchdown, which came against the Colts in the Rams' 2017 opener.

The Lions signed former Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis earlier in the day. Lewis came into the spotlight when he was the intended receiver on the controversial no-call that helped send the Rams to the Super Bowl back in January.
