Kenny Wayne Shepherd had his first recording contract at the age of 13 and his first hit record at the age of 18. He was originally inspired to take up the blues guitar at the age of seven after meeting the late, legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band has just released their first ever live concert video "Straight To You : Live". The concert was recorded in November of 2019 in Germany just before the Coronavirus quarantine.

The live performances feature Kenny Wayne Shepherd originals and covers of songs by Neil YoungJoe Walsh and Jimi Hendrix ("Voodoo Child", also famously covered by Stevie Ray Vaughan).

Kenny talked with Dave O'Brien about the new video; early comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughan; working with Stevie Ray Vaughan's band Double Trouble and the recent Louisiana Thanksgiving he celebrated with his wife and six kids!
