Hey, what’s going on? I’m Matt Gapske, and I’m getting you home each day from 2pm-7pm on 99.7 The Point!

KC is my hometown, and I love it here! I spent my formative years in Lenexa, but have lived all around the Kansas side. I got my start in radio right here in this building, and was on the original 99.7 The Point team back in 2011. Radio took my family across the country on a fantastic adventure, but it’s amazing to be back right here where it all began.

I love being a husband and father, and you’ll hear my wife Danielle and son Benjamin on my show from time to time. When the boy makes an appearance, you’ll hear that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

I’m a die-hard Royals and Chiefs fan, and spend WAY too much time playing fantasy football. I’m pretty sure the Star Wars tattoo on my arm solidifies my geek cred, and I’ve got a head full of useless knowledge when it comes to movies, tv, and music!
