Hi, I’m Shaylee! You may recognize me as the girl who was on top of Union Station during the Royals parade… Oh, you don’t? That’s okay. I got kicked off quickly, but it does make for a good story!

I’ve lived in Kansas City for a while now, but I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota (a beautiful place, but is it COLD). I LOVE everything about Kansas City. The food, the people, the history, the laid back vibe, I love it all. If you see me around town anywhere, I probably have a margarita in hand on a patio with friends, I’m trying to find the perfect almond milk latte or I’m at a concert or live sporting event. Speaking of, I am a HUGE sports nut! I could watch soccer, football, baseball, golf (yes, even golf) ALL day and be perfectly okay with it.

I’ll admit it, I know how ridiculous it is, but I love reality TV. I’ll watch everything from Hell’s Kitchen to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So if you want to talk about The Masked Singer or a Sporting KC game, be prepared to talk forever… you’ve been warned!

I love social media (follow me @ShayleeLately), Taylor Swift, and know entirely too much about celebrities' lives. My most embarrassing moment involves former Royals left fielder, Alex Gordon. If I’ve had one too many jalapeño margaritas, I may tell you the story!
