We shouldn’t be surprised by Kanye Wests’s Christmas Day album drop since he did the same thing last year, yet we still are.

The newest release, a five-track composition titled Emmanuel, serves as a follow-up to 2019's Jesus is Born, and showcases Ye’s Sunday Service Choir.

According to the project’s official press release, with it’s title meaning “God is with us,” the EP is a "celebration of the miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ," and is said to "introduce" a new sound that takes its inspiration from "Ancient and Latin music." While writing and producing credits go to West, the albums artwork is credited to Nick Knight.
