HOME SCHOOLED: 'Practice Makes Better' with All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth

The band's brand new album 'Wake Up, Sunshine' is out now

East coast rockers All Time Low have released their brand new album Wake Up, Sunshine - and while we're all under strict rules to stay at home, singer Alex Gaskarth is offering up some social distancing advice.

"Practice makes better, as they say," explains Gaskarth in RADIO.COM's latest episode of "Home Schooled," as he's been getting in some serious practice time while stuck inside.

"My wife and I have also been cooking up a storm. Every day we've been challenging ourselves to make something new for dinner because we get so used to take out, carry-out, going to restaurants with our lives and our lifestyle that it's kind of nice to sit at home, hang out and make something."

The lesson here is to always find creative ways to keep your mind occupied while you're doing your part to flatten the curve.

Also, check in on your friends and family during this time. "I know it's easy to feel a little bit lonely and disconnected," says Alex. "Get some face-to face contact with people even if it's from a distance, even if you're not in the same room. It really helps, and it's a nice little reset for your mind."
