Uniqlo is closing their three-story Union Square location in San Francisco on March 21, 2021 after nearly a decade.

An announcement was posted on the store's website announcing that March 21st will be their last day in business while other Bay Area locations will remain open at Stonestown Galleria, Serramone (Daly City) & Bay Street (Emeryville).

This closure comes as crowds are yet to return to Union Square due to he ongoing pandemic and as the 35,000 sq. ft. H&M across the street from it has already shuttered. Uniqlo also recently closed a midtown Manhattan store to cut costs.
