A longtime spot on California's central coast for travelers between the Bay Area and Los Angeles to stop is up for sale. Pea Soup Andersen's in Buellton, California has hit the market for $4.7 million.
The 3.36 acres of land up for sale include the restaurant, but not the adjacent Pea Soup Andersen's Inn.
The road stop has a storied history that dates back to 1924 and has been serving up world famous split pea soup for nearly a century. The sellers are hopeful whoever buys it will restore the restaurant back to its glory.
