It is being reported late Sunday night that California Gov. Gavin Newsom is expected to lift the stay at home order for the regions of the state that remain in it.

The California Restaurant Association sent a letter to its members Sunday evening saying they confirmed this with senior officials in the Newsom administration.

The regions that remain in the stay at home order are the Bay Area, Southern California & San Joaquin regions and health officials have said a 4-week projection of ICU capacity remaining above 15% is necessary in order for the order to be lifted.

It is expected that state's would go back to the most-restrictive purple tier where outdoor dining & personal care services are allowed.
