Usually, July in San Diego means cosplay and craziness at Comic Con. However, this year's physical event was cancelled due to COVID-19.

But the con must go on...even if it's from the couch!

San Diego Comic Con @ Home just announced that the virtual event will be FREE for all attendees.

If you've ever been to Comic Con, you know that getting your hands on badges can be stressful. But this year, there won't be any of that!

“For the first time in our 50-year history, we are happy to welcome virtually anyone from around the globe," said SDCC spokesperson David Glanzer. "Though stay-at-home conditions makes this a very difficult time, we see this as an opportunity to spread some joy and strengthen our sense of community.”

The virtual event will be taking place July 22-26, 2020.
