Just over a week old, Rodrigo's debut received high praise from one side of the musical spectrum when Swift responded to an Instagram post of Olivia's showing her chart position just below Taylor's. "I say that's my baby and I'm really proud," Swift commented.

TikTok and Instagram celeb Jaden Hossler, better known as jxdn enlisted drummer Travis Barker of blink-182 to provide the backbone for their version of the pop anthem.

Jxdn offered his thanks to Rodrigo on social media, "for making the beautiful song... me and @travisbarker fw it so much we put our spin on it."

It's just one more nudge forward the 17-year-old High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star has gotten since dropping her first single at the beginning of the new year. "I used to write like, One Direction fan-fiction when I was in middle school." Olivia recently divulged.

Now, she's texting with Niall Horan, while her song begins to take on a life of its own in some unlikely circles.
