Once again, the Bronx Zoo is kicking off their annual "Name-A-Roach" event.

In time for Valentine's Day, the beloved New York City zoo is allowing the bitter and brokenhearted to put their anger towards a harmless cause.

For now the tenth year in a row, spiteful individuals can donate $15 to name a Madagascar hissing cockroach after a spurned love. Participants will receive a downloadable certificate with their roach's chosen name.

The proceeds from the donations will go towards helping the Wildlife Conservation Society, or WCS, save wildlife and wild places in New York and around the world.

People from all over the world have taken part in the event, and it's not just limited to people's exes. Some have taken to naming their roaches after celebrities, political candidates, and other public figures

Madagascar hissing cockroaches are the world's largest roach species, ABC7 reports. They reach up to 4 inches long and emit a hissing noise as a defense mechanism.

Unlike other years, this year's "Name-a-Roach" event gives you the opportunity to upgrade your order to include a plush roach, a scented roach candle, or a special Valentine virtual encounter with a real hissing roach.

You can place your order for your named roach and other supplies here.
