John Travolta shares festive video with kids on first Christmas after wife Kelly Preston's death

John Travolta celebrated the holidays with his children.

The actor and his kids, Ella Bleu, 20, and Benjamin, 10, wished fans a merry Christmas in a festive video posted to his Instagram.

“Say merry Christmas, Ella,” the 66-year-old said from behind the camera. Ella, who was decked out in her pajamas, waved while standing in front of the Christmas tree.

Travolta then panned the camera towards Benjamin, who was lounging and enjoying a Christmas treat.

The “Grease” star captioned the post: “Merry Christmas from the Travolta family!”

This was the family's first Christmas without wife and mother, Kelly Preston, who passed away in July after a two-year battle with breast cancer. She was 57.

Travolta confirmed the sad news in an Instagram post, writing, “It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.”

Back in 2009, the couple, who were married for 28 years, also lost their son Jett during a trip to the Bahamas. The then-16-year-old hit his head on a bathtub after suffering a seizure at the family’s vacation home.

In August, Travolta and Ella shared a dance in memory of Preston in a touching video posted on Instagram.

“My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me,” the actor captioned the video.

In the clip, Travolta can be seen twirling Ella twice as the two share a gentle dance on the dancefloor.
