Marvel fans, get ready because the final “Black Widow” trailer was just released.
The film is the solo movie for Natasha Romano, the Russian spy originally introduced as an Iron Man antagonist played by Scarlett Johansson, and she is ready to take charge.
“Black Widow” is directed by Cate Shortland and takes place after the events of "Captain America: Civil War." It also appears to be flashing back to Johansson’s character before “Marvel’s The Avengers”, reported Marvel Entertainment.
The new trailer shows her character returning to Russia and reuniting with sister figure Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), father figure Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Harbour), and mother figure Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz).
In addition to the trailer, “Black Widow” also dropped its latest poster.
Back in December, a teaser trailer for the movie was released. The trailer shows Johansson ready to take on a new challenge as Avengers character. While watching it, the very first line in the trailer will probably give you some deja vu. The line is straight out of "Avengers: Endgame."
"I used to have nothing," Johansson's character says. Flashback clips of Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) appear as she continues, "And then I got this job. This family." Her character then looks into a mirror and says, "But nothing lasts forever."
“Black Widow” hits theaters on May 1, 2020.
