2019 U.S. Open Betting Guide: Tiger Woods Garnering Bettors’ Attention

The 2019 U.S. Open tees off on Thursday, running from June 13-16 in Pebble Beach, Calif. Dustin Johnson (7-1) is the current favorite, with Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods all on his tail (9-1). The 29-year-old Koepka has claimed four major championships in six starts, including the 2019 PGA Championship. He’ll be gunning to win his third-straight U.S. Open, too.

But Woods has still racked up the highest percentage of bets and money wagered to win the major, according to Jeff Sherman of the Westgate SuperBook. Woods most recently won the 2019 Masters, good for his fifth green jacket, and sits just one behind the legendary Jack Nicklaus in that department. It represented major win No. 15 overall.
