PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) -- It looks as if disgruntled wide receiver Antonio Brown will not be with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019.

In an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Steelers owner Art Rooney II said it is “hard to envision” Brown being with the team when training camp starts in the summer.

Rooney said “all options” on what to do with Brown are being explored by the team; the only option the Steelers say they will not consider is releasing Brown. Rooney also said the Steelers are not worried about the salary-cap ramifications of their decision.

“That has to be taken into consideration, but, as I sit here today, I’m not going to say that’s going to box us into anything,” Rooney told the Post-Gazette. “If we decide something has to be done, we’ll figure out how to deal with that.”

Rooney said it is still early in the process and no decisions will be made in a hurry.

The All-Pro wide receiver responded to Rooney's interview by posting on Instagram.

Brown reportedly has not spoken to Rooney or Steelers coach Mike Tomlin since he left Heinz Field during the season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals.
