Andy Cohen deserves his own “Watch What Happens Live” “Mazel of the Day” recognition. That’s because he’s getting a special honor at the upcoming GLAAD Media Awards. The Bravo television host and new dad is set to receive the “Vito Russo Award,” presented to him by his bestie Sarah Jessica Parker.
The honor recoginzes an open LGBTQ member of the media, who has advanced acceptance for the LGBTQ community. Vito Russo was a founder of GLAAD and a renowned ACT UP activist.
Cohen will be in good company at the 30th annual ceremony. Madonna will also receive the Advocate for Change Award.
