The fan who allegedly threw something at LeBron James' son Bronny James Jr. has apologized in a YouTube video.
The boy says in the video below that he threw an "orange peel."
"It wasn't a hate crime, and I know that's what you thought..and I'm really sorry," the boy says.
He proceeds to show all the jerseys and shoes he owns of LeBron's and a ticket to show he was at the game where the incident occurred.
It all started Monday night when Lebron James was at his son's game at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield.
Twitter video shows a fan who throws something at LeBron's son as he was standing on the sideline. The object hit his back -- and a referee stopped the game to get a police officer to try to find the person who threw the object.
The fan was not removed from the game, and no further incidents occurred, per ESPN in a CBS News article.
"Hating has no age limit," he wrote on Twitter. "James gang is built for it and well equipped. As we proceed."
