Jon Pardi kicked the dirt off his boots at MusicTown Detroit before taking the stage at Stars and Strings alongside Lady Antebellum, Brett Young, Maren Morris and more.
And the ladies in the audience hooted and hollered from the time he walked in until he was done. "He's tall," one shouted.
When he took off his coat, a whoop went through the audience. They almost lost it when he did an Elvis impression.
Jon Pardi, all 6 feet, 4 inches of him, is a native Californian who's spent a decade in Nashville perfecting his own brand of hard-hitting, honky-tonk favorites, including "Dirt On My Boots."
In his personal life, Pardi, 34, recently became engaged to his girlfriend Summer Duncan. He proposed in The Ryman Auditorium during his own sold-out show because the Ryman holds a special place for the couple. It's the spot where they had one of their first dates.
His pal Dierks Bentley captured the moment for Instagram.
But maybe it wasn’t a happy occasion for all. Pardi admitted his female fans weren’t necessarily overjoyed at the news he’s off the market.
“Some fans left very pissed off. Bob was there, Kid Rock was in the audience. He’s my buddy and he saw these girls storm off and said, ‘Maybe next time, girls.’”
