NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Jon Bon Jovi's 17-year-old son Jacob had an apparent run-in with coronavirus, according to the rocker.

"It hit our home, too," Bon Jovi, 58, told Extra in a Facetime inteview from his New Jersey home. "Jake, our son, he had a mild case that was intestinal. He is recovered now and the rest of us are all healthy… He had an intense fever, but not bronchial stuff."

Bon Jovi said the family has been isolating itself. “Our home was only infected with Jake, and the rest of us have been healthy, but we are all sequestered and under quarantine," he said.

The New Jersey native told "Extra" he has not been tested for the potentially-deadly virus, because "I have not had symptoms ... I’m feeling quite healthy ... Fortunately for me, we didn’t need one."

He also opened up about band mate David Bryan, who recently tested positive. "I believe he is on the mend. He is a tough guy," Bon Jovi said. "We are obviously hoping he gets better soon."
