NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Linda Tripp, the Clinton sex scandal whistleblower who secretly recorded private phone calls with Monica Lewinksy, died Wednesday, according to The Daily Mail, which first reported it. She was 70.
She had reportedly been living with pancreatic cancer.
Earlier Wednesday, Lewinsky tweeted, "no matter the past, upon hearing that linda tripp is very seriously ill, i hope for her recovery. i can’t imagine how difficult this is for her family."
