DALLAS - For the first time since his passing, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott spoke publicly about the death of his brother, Jace, during his appearance with the media Wednesday.
News of Jace's passing broke during April's NFL Draft. At 31-years-old, he was the middle brother in the Prescott family. Dak is the youngest at 27.
The Prescott brothers grew very close to one another because of their love for sports and the loss of their mother, Peggy, who died of colon cancer during Prescott's freshman year at Mississippi State.
"I have the obligation to live on and carry on another legacy," Prescott added. "So now it's not just my mother, but it's my brother as well. And I'll continue to do that in every walk of my life."
