The Giants have reportedly found their next head coach, and their choice is a shocker.

According to multiple reports, the Giants are finalizing a deal to hire Patriots special teams coordinator/wide receivers coach Joe Judge. Judge, 38, has informed Patriots coach Bill Belichick that he is accepting the position.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the deal was in the works Monday night and might have been a factor why Baylor coach Matt Rhule accepted the Carolina Panthers' head-coaching position before interviewing with the Giants.

Judge also had an offer on the table to become the head coach at Mississippi State, his alma mater, Schefter added.
