Nikolaj Coster-Waldau May Have Just Completely Spoiled Game of Thrones

If you’re hungry for cryptic Game of Thrones spoilers to dissect, we’ve got quite the addition to your mental spoiler database. During an interview, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau dropped a major hint about what we can expect from the upcoming season.

Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister in the series, appeared on The Ellen Show this week where he was asked to sum up the entire series in 30 seconds. The kicker? His entire summary was focused on Bran Stark – a character that Jaime Lannister hasn’t even encountered IRL since season 1 when he pushed Bran out of a window.

A rushed Coster-Waldau says of the series, “There’s a boy who lost his way in life, he needs help and this guy, Jaime Lannister, helps him, he pushes him out a window, he falls to the ground, he realizes ‘I have to do something with life,’ he becomes the Three-Eyed Raven — this magical creature who can foresee the future, look back — and helps save the world, all because of Jaime Lannister, this great guy.”

Based on this info alone, we’re predicting a Jaime/Bran reunion in the near future. Fans also can’t help but pull apart that last line in particular – “helps save the world.”

GoT fans will totally clock that Bran has not, in any way, “saved the world” as of yet. Does this mean Coster-Waldau just gave away a huge plot point that we can expect in the final season?

Fan theories are floating around everywhere, but the favorite seems to be that perhaps Bran will look into a future battle and be able to give insight on how to win before going into it, therefore saving the world.

Knowing his answer was going to be heavily scrutinized, it’s possible that Coster-Waldau is just trying to mislead fans into thinking the series will end a certain way. What’s the truth!?
