(92.3 The Fan) -- Odell Beckham Jr. is cozying up to Cleveland.
The Cleveland Browns wide receiver joined Bull & Fox to talk about how he's embraced his controversial trade from the New York Giants to the Cleveland Browns.
Beckham told The Bull that he's struggled to get past prior controversies. "I think it's just a breath of fresh air," he said. "I haven't been perfect in the past, I know I've done things wrong. But I felt that I could never escape that, that I could never get past those moments. People only want to talk about the catch, or the stuff with Josh Norman. And it's like, how can a person ever grow if that's all that's ever brought back up and thrown back in your face?"
He even cited how people would box him in and make assumptions about him based on his unique haircut.
But now, the NFL star is coming to Cleveland with a revived clarity, seeing his move to the Browns as a fresh start that he's fully committed to.
"I'm happy to be here, be a part of all this," Beckham Jr. said. "I really want to give my all, my best, to this city, to this team, to this organization."
When asked about if his emotions make him a better player, he said: "It definitely does. There's also a time and a place where I've worked on it. But I think because of all the other frustrations I had... you also feel like you can't help your team win."
Beckham Jr. also discussed his relationship with Baker Mayfield and how he can help him going forward, his attitude toward the haters, and whether there's enough balls to go around in this offense.
