HARKER, Ill. (KMOX) — A tattoo artist in Hecker, Illinois - about 25 minutes from downtown Saint Louis - says a unique request by a customer has exploded into a "global" calling.

Eric Catalano of "Eternal Ink" says he tattooed fingernails on a man without fingernails on his hand.

The result looks so amazing that he's getting calls from around the world to do more.

"This guy wants to fly me to Vietnam to tattoo a 12-year-old girl and I can't do that," Catalano said with a laugh. "The story is so heartbreaking, because all of the tips of their fingers got cutoff."

He's received some "unique" requests. He says he also tattoos nipples on breast cancer survivors who've had mastectomies.

Catalano says he's getting so many requests to help people - at no charge to them - that he's set up a "Go Fund Me" page to cover costs.

He says if you'd like to make - what he calls an "angel" donation - then he can keep up with the calling. He says no donation is too small,
