Protestors gathered outside the house of Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman to protest his response to prosecuting the officers involved in the death of George Floyd.

More than 1000 protestors gathered to share stories of discrimination that they have experienced and attempt to create solidarity as they protest police brutality and the death of George Floyd.

The Protests have been peaceful for the most part of the day as the numbers have grown since this morning.

There has been some damage to his house as some users have tweeted that his basement window was broken and his yard covered in toilet paper. Signs in his yard read prosecute as the crowd gets their point across. They want the other officers charged.

Despite the damage to his window the protests have remained peaceful with participants chanting “No justice, no peace,” just like most of the other protests across the city.

The protestors are calling for the arrest and prosecution of the other three officers who stood by and watched as former officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on Floyd’s neck. Freeman spoke in a press conference on Thursday discussing the plans they have for prosecution but protestors are calling for actions to move quicker.
