A little more than two hours after the White House announced on Monday morning that the Coronavirus Task Force daily briefing had been canceled -- making it the third consecutive day that there wasn't one -- press secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced that there would indeed be one.

Ever since President Trump suggested injecting disinfectant to kill off coronavirus during Thursday's briefing, reports have surfaced that he planned to scale them back. A briefing was held Friday, but it ended after 22 minutes and he did not take questions from reporters.

"UPDATE: The White House has additional testing guidance and other announcements about safely opening up America again. President @realDonaldTrump will brief the nation during a press conference this evening," McEnany tweeted early Monday afternoon.
