Joe Biden spoke at George Floyd's funeral in Houston Tuesday afternoon via a pre-recorded video message, and professed the virtues of racial justice and tolerance.
A day earlier, the former vice president-turned-presumptive Democratic presidential nominee met privately with Floyd’s family. Floyd died two weeks ago while in Minneapolis police custody, after an officer held his knee on Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes, sparking protests worldwide.
"When we get justice for George Floyd we will truly be on our way to racial justice in America,” Biden said.
And in a message to Floyd's daughter, he said, "Then, Gianna, your daddy will have changed the world.”
