(WEEI) After the Celtics were rumored to be interested in the No. 5 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Boston stuck with their first pick at No. 14, taking guard Romeo Langford out of Indiana.
Though the 6-foot-6 guard made strides defensively throughout the year, Langford wasn't very efficient offensively for the Hoosiers, shooting 27.2 percent from three. While that leaves room for questions, Langford reportedly played with torn a ligament in his right thumb, which he sustained back in November. (He had it surgically repaired after the season.) So there's a chance there's more to Langford than his numbers show.
