Speaking with Fox News, Papa Gaga said he is "extremely proud" of his daughter's upcoming National Anthem performance at the January 20 Inauguration of Joe Biden, regardless if that's who he voted for.

"I'm extremely proud that she's able to participate," Joe explained on Thursday. "I'm looking forward to watching it."

The events over the past two weeks surrounding the violent pro-Trump mob which stormed the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, killing five people and injuring many more, were obviously not lost on Germanotta. He says he has "normal fears that a father would have any time my daughter performs," and hopes, "everybody stays happy, safe, and it's a calm day."

The Celebrating America special featuring the Inauguration of Joseph R. Biden will be hosted by the one and only Tom Hanks and will air everywhere on January 20 at 8:30PM ET. Lady Gaga's anthem will be followed by performances from Jennifer LopezJon Bon JoviJustin TimberlakeDemi Lovato, Ant Clemons, as well as Foo Fighters, John Legend, and Bruce Springsteen.
