While we wait to find out who the big winner is, rewatch every nominated video below and then cast your vote on who you think will win Video of the Year.
Dan + Shay featuring Justin Bieber - “10,000 Hours”
There’s a pretty universal reaction most people have when seeing this video for the first time. “Awwwwwwwww!” The trio stirs up feelings of love and romance by singing to their significant others while home-movie-like footage plays in the background featuring their families.
Blake Shelton - God’s Country
The video is a powerful tribute to rural America highlighting the beauty, hardships, and everything in between. Shelton is seen working on a farm while black and white footage from the Dust Bowl is interspersed in the video.
Old Dominion - One Man Band
“One Man Band” has a pretty simple music video concept. Alternating footage between Old Dominion performing on the stage and in the studio. The video is beautifully shot and masterfully edited giving a behind-the-scenes look at the band in the studio while mixing in the power of their stage performance.
Thomas Rhett - Remember You Young
The video is a sequel to Rhett’s song “Marry Me” and focuses on the main character named Sam who in his elderly years is going about his daily routine while looking back at moments from throughout his life. Warning, this one is a tear-jerker.
Little Big Town - Sugar Coat
Kate Bosworth stars as the main character in this video featuring a 50’s and 60’s aesthetic. She portrays a wife and mother that suspects her husband of having an affair. The tension in the video makes it seem as if you were watching a movie and leaves viewers with an incredibly powerful ending.
