Anthony’s Bourdain's daughter is showing strength after losing her father to an apparent suicide. The legendary food icon’s ex-wife, Ottavia posted a photo of 11-year-old Ariane, onstage standing behind a microphone in what appears to be a band behind her.
In her first social media post since Bourdain's passting, she wrote, “Our little girl had her concert today. She was amazing. So strong and brave. She wore the boots you bought her. I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are.”

Ottavia and Anthony were married for nine years and separated in 2016 but continued to raise their daughter together and kept her out of the spotlight. The parents shared photos of their daughter on social media but always shielded her face. The family enjoyed competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu together and traveling around the world. Bourdain explained in past interviews that he travels for 250 days a year shooting CNN's Parts Unknown. He added that he would try to spend at least five days a month with his daughter in New York.
The 61-year-old was found dead in his France hotel room by friend and chef Eric Ripert while shooting his latest season for CNN.
