When Blake Shelton gets on Twitter, you know he's ready to stir up some trouble.
The Oklahoma native jumped on the social media platform on Monday (August 17) to playfully poke fun at one of his good buddies, Luke Bryan.
Shelton put his editing skills to work to create a fake news headline that read, "Study Finds Falling Asleep At The Wheel Linked To Luke Bryan Music."
"Wow! Just catching up on the news... Shocking! I have noticed some fatigue when @lukebryanonline comes on.." Shelton wrote.
Bryan, who just released a new album in early August, was quick to strike back and throw some hilarious shade at Shelton about his own music.
"Your girlfriend is the only reason people are listening to your last two singles," Bryan wrote.
Shelton's most recent singles, "Nobody But You" and "Happy Anywhere," feature his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.
There's no denying there has been a lot of negativity on social media recently, but it's nice to get a laugh out of these two and their playful banter.
