Will Ferrell has had plenty of success throughout his acting career.
From "Saturday Night Live," to starring in movies and eventually producing films and shorts for the big screen and the internet, it seems everything the comedian puts his name on ends with praise.
Now, Ferrell has found success in the music industry as well, as a song from his latest Netflix film has turned out to be a hit of sorts.
"Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga," starring Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, recently premiered on the streaming platform and has caused the 52-year-old to really have something to sing about.
In the film, Ferrell and McAdams play Icelandic singers vying to win the coveted Eurovision Song Contest.
Now one of the five songs Ferrell sings in the film, "Husavik," has debuted at number 16 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart. The song has received over 8,000 download sales in its first week of release.
The song was co-written by Fat Max Gsus, Savan Kotecha and Rickard Goransson; the guitarist for Carolina Liar.
Along with "Husavik," the rest of the movie soundtrack earned the number 5 spot on Billboard’s Soundtrack chart.
While it may not be his main profession, Will Ferrell can now claim to be a successful crooner as well.
