Earlier in the week, there were reports that Taco Bell was preparing to make some major menu changes in August that might eliminate some of your favorites items.
According to Business Insider, the changes were the fast food joint's attempt at simplifying operations.
The initial report came from an employee who posted on Reddit about what is changing as of August 13th.
The post notes the cuts are unconfirmed and "subject to change at any time.
Initially a rep for Taco Bell did not confirm the news to Thrillist, but did say that the company is "evolving our menu to simplify operations and make our team member and customer experiences easier."
But on Friday, the company finally confirmed the menu would be undergoing an overhaul starting next month.
"Beginning August 13, we will be simplifying our menu," the chain said in a statement. "This evolved menu approach comes after months of analyzing the new way we are running our restaurants."
The following menu items will no longer be available:
Grilled Steak Soft Taco
Beefy Fritos Burrito®
Triple Layer Nachos
Spicy Potato Soft Taco
Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes
Loaded Grillers (Cheesy Potato, Beefy Nacho)
Chips & Dips
Mini Skillet Bowl
To make up for the lost items, they will be adding $5 Grande Nacho Boxes. The meals consist of tortilla chips, a double serving of seasoned beef, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, three-cheese blend, pico de gallo, guacamole and reduced-fat sour cream, and come with a medium drink.
The company will also be adding a Beef Burrito to the $1 Cravings menu. And while the Quesarito will no longer appear on menu boards, customers will still be able to order them via the Taco Bell website or app.
Fans still have a few weeks to make their way to Taco Bell to snag the disappearing menu items before they are gone for good on August 13th.
