These divers are taking one Halloween tradition to new depths, literally going deep sea pumpkin carving.
They worked in pairs to compete in creating jack-o-lanterns in the shapes of sharks, seahorses an eel and more, 30-feet-down in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
It’s challenging to keep their pumpkins, which naturally float easily, down in the water, while the divers carve their masterpieces.
The winning gourd--- a “dolphin and half-moon” design. But all the pumpkins helped to get the Florida waters into the Halloween spirit.
