Everyone is calling an audible on their favorite events this year, and singer Darius Rucker has done the same.
The solo country artist and singer of Hootie and the Blowfish fame announced he is going virtual with his yearly Darius & Friends charity concert to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital later this month, on July 30th.
"It may not be in person, but Darius & Friends ... is on," says Rucker in an Instagram post.
Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence, and a few surprise guests will join him on a virtual live stream concert from the iconic stage of Nashville's Opry House at LiveXLive.com/Darius. Tickets for the exclusive online event are on sale now.
This will be the 11th year Rucker has raised money for St Jude, raising over $2 million in funds for the charity to date.
Rucker will also be joining Brad Paisley, Jon Pardi, Nelly, El Monstero, and Yacht Rock Revue this weekend (July 10-12) from Indianapolis, Nashville, and St. Louis as Live Nation brings back live music for their first ever drive-in concert series.
