After a major snowstorm made it nearly impossible for students to take their prom photos outside, the Forest Lake Fire and Rescue Department in Minnesota opened their doors so the high school kids could take unique shots at the station -- and it’s safe to say that everyone was excited to get on the fire trucks!
In a post on Facebook, the firehouse announced they would be opening up to the public for prom photos saying, "PROM FAMILIES. Forest Lake Fire station will be opening their doors at 3 p.m. today for prom-goers to gather and take photos... Be safe and make the most of this memorable day."
The decked out teens were photographed wearing fire hats and posing with extinguishers -- and even got to include the first responders who graciously welcomed their community in a time of (photographic) need.
Although the prom itself was eventually canceled because of the severe weather, plans are already in motion to reschedule the big dance.
